Again we had to struggle a long time to get hold of our FIle but now we are here again

There they go again our writers, unwittingly repeating the British colonial point of view Here is something they repeat, that the British battled communist insurgency. They keep forgetting that the first arrests before the war was launched was 400 Malay leftists; that the war was in response to the Hartal, the planters thinking they would lose their estates and mines.  The planters saw the hartal as a threat to their interests and started the war. This the true history of what happened. It is a pity that some writers forget this. Insurgency? Well that's a novel way of describing a state of peace.
